• Pass left shoulder, to left shoulder and always try to ride in the same direction. *Cue quietly

• Be courteous and work together.  *Slow on inside, fast on outside

• Clean what your animal has left behind in the arena, tie area and parking lot

• Put away all obstacles in their designated place

• Announce your intentions by telling others what you are planning to do

• Users should be doing similar things, if possible

• Mount and dismount in the centre and out of the way

• Youth under 8 must wear an impact resistant helmet. Appropriate footwear is recommended

• Reasonable control of your animal must be always demonstrated

• Animals that are creating an unsafe environment may be refused access to the arena or facility

• Minors under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by an adult

• All horses are to be tied in designated areas only

• The last person to leave the facility is responsible to shut off all lights and make sure all doors are shut and locked

• Inhumane or mistreatment of any livestock will not be tolerated

• Please ensure that your fees are paid before you ride

• All riders are required to have a current WAIVER and AEF Membership.  Memberships can be purchased thru AEF by calling (403)253-4411 or www.albertaequestrian.com
