What to Expect
All levels of experience are welcome. Come try jumping for the first time or get some schooling practice in a fun positive environment.
Setup of course starts at 6pm Wednesday evening.
Course and exercise design is different each week.
The evening starts with ground poles and will slowly go up in height levels based on the horse/rider ability/comfort level.
If you are planning on attending, please let Darciknow(780) 830-8861, know so we can make a plan for the evening.
GUIDELINES AND RULES
Western or English Attire/tack is acceptable.
Helmets must be worn at all times when jumping.
Jump/Ride safely and within your comfort level
During warmup, riders are to call their fences
When a rider is on course all other riders must be halted off course (in corners or out of the way).
Those that are not jumping during the height level set up should be helping jump crew for those riding.
Basic arena etiquette is expected, (meet left to left, pass on the inside track)
Ride at your own risk
Most importantly, have fun and cheer each other on!
Guidelines for Daytime Ropers
Access to the quad, supplied by a volunteer, and is limited to times when they are present, typically every Tuesday and Thursday morning during the winter.
The fee for chasing or roping is $5.
The Quad travels straight down and around the outer edge of the arena during breakaway roping and heading runs.
When there is a healer, the quad will turn left across the arena unexpectedly; spectators or participants should stay close to the boxes for safety.
All children must be in a designated safe place.
No chasing the dummy on foot or jumping on the quad.
